It had been raining all week, but the sun came out to celebrate Toby & Julia's wedding that was held in at the gorgeous Sirromet Winery.

Marc & Chris have the unique advantage of working in the wedding industry as a DJ so when it came to planning their wedding they gathered their favourite suppliers for a party to remember.

When it's meant to be it's meant to be. Life and countries kept these two apart, how lovely that the stars aline and they got to be with their soul mates.

The venue for this wedding was at Stamford Plaza and after the BOM predicted hail the ceremony was held inside.

Scott is a bit of a sweet tooth and he loves Donuts. Their cake elegantly had some donuts added. I have never seen a groom deconstruct a cake at the cake cutting table before, it was so funny.

Eliza did an amazing job of planning every little detail, with everything so personalised right down to the bottles of wine & champagne, and she did it from interstate. With this wedding 17 years in the making it was bound to be perfect.

Their wedding was held at the Magnificent St Stephens Cathedral. Eliza said the funniest part of the day was when she forgot her vows and Gareth had to say them to her.

After the ceremony we did a mini pub crawl, firstly to Gilhooleys (since this is their last name) Then to Irish Murphys where they met. They will remember the most about the day was the incredible cheers and congratulations as they entered Irish Murphy's.

The reception was held at the Brisbane Convention Centre with the city skyline as a gorgeous backdrop for the night.

We've all heard how you can find love at a wedding. This is how Mick & Brooke met, in a bridal party at a wedding, they became friends. It was Mick's daughter who played cupid putting their hands together that started this love story.

Arvin & Alka are the cutest high school sweet hearts. We spent 4 days with them over their wedding celebration. The first day was at Alka's home for her Mehindi ceremony with all the ladies getting their henna. The home was amazing decorated for the ceremony, all the days were so perfectly decorated by Chandi Events. Arvin arrived later in the evening to join in the dancing.

The second day was Hardi ceremony where turmeric paste is applied to the Bride & Groom. As it spreads easily the bride & groom had fun adding it to other guests to their horror.

The day of the ceremonies had arrived. The first being a Bahai ceremony celebrating the grooms Persian family, then the Hindu ceremony. After both ceremonies I was so excited that the bride & groom followed me around the city for some romantic couple photos.

The last day was all about loud fun. Drummers accompanying the the Bride & Groom and special unique dancers from the boys & girls.

Alex & Sevda got married in the Beautiful Botanical gardens only a short walk from the reception at Royal on the Park. This wedding was truly a multi-cultral wedding with People from Alex being German had his German family, Sevda's Persian family, their friends from Venezuela. All up I'm told there were 14 different languages at the reception.

This made for an amazing dance party with all cultures coming together, and Peter from Paramount Events did an amazing job with so many segues that kept everyone involved. Including an impromptu conga line.

Josh & Kirsty's wedding was filled with lots of fun and excited children. Everyone was getting ready at Twin Town. Due to the Surf Carnival there was a last minute change to the ceremony venue. It was so nice to be invited to be part Mat & Danielle's destination wedding. All their guest traveled all the way from Victoria to be part of their special day.

Cedar Creek was the perfect rain forest destination, they also had horses, which Danielle just loves, and spending some time a beautiful white horse made the day complete.

Louise planned the ultimate princess wedding with the perfect location selected, Braeside Chapel. What an amazing day.

We started out with the boys, with their precious dog Miley in toe checking on the entire process. Then joined the girls, Louise choose the best bridal party with her two sisters and very close cousin making sure everyone was having a fantastic time.

The ceremony was held under the large fig tree at Braeside chapel with the guests making great use of the lawn games and chest board.

Then it was time for the party to get started with lots of crazy dancing. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this wedding everyone being so sweet and lovely.

Once everyone was ready it was time to get married in theTweed Valley at The Abbey Cobaki. Scott thought it was so funny when they both put the rings on the wrong fingers. At the conclusion of the ceremony not only excited guests to greet them but also guests of a different kind with everyone getting their selfies with the friendly Lamas.

Kristy said the favourite part of the day was taking their wedding photos and playing with the Lamas.

Daniel & Deborah have an incredible love storey that just must be told.

Daniels Brother & Deborah's Brother both did an exchange program, traveling to Paris & Australia. The families became friends while taking care each others sons. Over the years the parents and other family members had many trips and to each others homes. Of all the family members Daniel & Deborah were the last to meet.

It was obvious now why Cupid had make these two families meet across the world from each other.

Because both sides of the family were already clearly great friend the love between both families and each other was obvious.

The whole day was amazing. Deborah said, "The whole day was so magical. Getting ready with my bridesmaids, walking down the aisle, saying Ido, taking photos, the reception, Fireworks!" The fireworks were a surprise to the couple and was so cool. The funniest part of the day was Deborah's father singing to entertain the guests while the technology glitch was worked out.

Adam's bridal party made the distance, all very close friends from primary school. Their ceremony was in the garden court yard of Stamford Plaza overlooking the Brisbane river. After some photos it was back to Stamford for the reception.

Now this movie has a twist, after the wedding Princess Julie is whisked back to work and they won't see each other again for a while. It can't wait for the end of the movie when Julie is back in Adams arms.

It was so nice to join this family again for another special event. This gentle cute couple got married by Troys God Mother at Cedar Creek in this beautiful rain forest setting. After some family around the grounds we headed to watch the sunset at the top of Mount Tamborine.

Damien & Rebecca met 5 years ago through friends and are such a lovely couple. Rebecca is so kind and elegant. Damien is her perfect cheeky prince. St Stephens cathedral was the perfect place for these two to tie the knot. After the ceremony the bridal party celebrated in the limo on the way to the botanical gardens for photos. They had a fairy tale wedding at Stamford Plaza planned, complete with unexpected fireworks on the Storey bridge.

Darren & Skye met through friends, and now it's time to tie the knot and grow old together. Their infectious giggles and love for each other is obvious. Their wedding was at the Landing at Dockside with only a few family and close friends.

Maxwell & Teesha's wedding had to be moved due to a surf competition and then there was the threat of a cyclone and in the end the weather was perfect. There reception was held at Twin Towns and they were both so happy with all the help they got right from the start of working with them.

I remember something unique about every wedding and I will always remember Maxwell saying in his vows that he thought Teesha was crazy when they first met, well now they are totally crazy together. Teesha lights up the room with her energy and everyone wants a little of that sort of crazy in their life.

I just love how cute these two are together, and when I suggested a trash the dress session I was so excited they said yes.

Rando & Sharleen are another of our destination wedding couples, organizing there wedding from USA to enjoy their wedding here in Sunny Queensland.

Rando studied chemistry at QUT so it was so nice that this is where they decided to tie the knot. This was also the year for both sets of their parents to celebrate milestone wedding anniversaries, 40th & 50th. So how cool is their 10th Anniversary going to be :)

I loved how Sharleen had the ceremony set up in a slight semi circle, looked so pretty. She made sure every detail was perfect. Their huge bridal party showed a lot of love.

Thanks to Sharleen & Rando for trusting their photos to me, I was luck enough to Win a Silver Award from the Australian Institute of Photography for one of the photos we created on the day.

Nick & Alice did an awesome job of organizing their wedding half way around the world. Coming from Switzerland for their intimate wedding on the Beach. They arrived 1 week before the wedding to rain, rain and more rain. But the sun came out for their special day. Alice is a very talented artist and did a wonderful job of making her own flowers.

How much fun was ice cream on the beach after the ceremony. Yummy!

As most of their guest also came from many places around the world they had the awesome idea of bringing Australian wildlife to their reception. It was everyone's favorite part of the day playing with Bumpy the wombat.

Scott & Jess have turned tradition on it's head after over 10 years together buying a house, having 3 bouncing boys, now its time to get married.

Their wedding was held at Pelican Water Golf Club on the Sunshine Coast. Everyone got ready in the hotel next door. Jessalyn said she would always remember the boys walking down the Aisle with the signs. After the ceremony we had some fun on the golf course before heading down to the beach to catch the sunset.

Callum & Emma met in high school, and Emma lights up with a huge giggle when Callum cracks his jokes.

This wedding was held at the beautiful Summit Restaurant an intimate venue with the best view in Brisbane.

They neatly tucked a few special movie moments into their wedding day. Can you spot them?

The Story Bridge means a lot to Dylan & Amanda. They had their first date near it, and Dylan proposed on a Gondola under it. The wedding location was a perfect pick, Dockside Landing has a beautiful view of their beloved bridge, and tonight it would be showcased as they choose Riverfire night. The bridge was lit up with Fireworks, an amazing special treat for their guests.

I wonder how the Story Bridge is going to be included in the rest of their love story?

Ben & Tamara met on the train on the way to TAFE, he proposed on the beach and now 5 years after they met their love story adds a new chapter, with there prince & princess wedding.

The boys got ready over looking the beach, while Tamara's house to get ready in was an amazing surprise at hope island.

There were three little cuties Ben & Tamara's nieces & nephew as part of the bridal party. After the ceremony in the White chapel, where Tamara promised to love her "Awful wedded husband" we had so many options for lovely photos on the grounds at Braeside Chapel. My sides hurt from laughing as the groomsmen chased the chickens. Tamara agreed this was the funniest moment of the day and I think I will always remember it.

The reception with white marquee with the beautiful chandlers matched the elegant style of their wedding perfectly.

Daniel & Juanita met at University and now the day has come to make it official.

We all started out getting ready at the Dockside Apartments. Daniel's car was one of the only vintage Cadillac's of it's type in Australia. The boys did look very cool rocking around in this car.

The ceremony was held at the Historic Uniting Church on Albert St and Juanita's Uncle married them making it very persona. The bridal party spent some time around the city for photos. Juanita's feet hurt in her shoes so Daniel carried her the whole way, only putting her down for photos.

The reception is were the fun began with lots of family and friend definitely making it a great party. There was some amazing Indian dancing, and an appearance from a pretend rock star. Dad's speech had everyone in stitches and since he was a little shorter that the grooms dad he enlisted the help of a chair to welcome him to the family.

Jacob & Jemma met at Uni in a class where Jacob & Jemma’s friend would very often be on opposite ends of a heated debate. He noticed that Jemma was quirky and odd. After Uni he made sure to keep in touch and this cute couple soon became inseparable. Continuing on their playful love story Jacob (with the assistance of bridesmaids) hid presents around where they were getting ready in the morning. While she was searching for her next gift, Jacob was finding it very comforting having his groomsmen all around while he was getting ready. Jacob & his groomsmen made a grand entrance into the church, dancing their way down the aisle. Jacob will never forget her walking through the door. On the other side of the door Jemma was overwhelmed but will cherish having that very special moment with her dad. After the ceremony the Dove release was so fun. Then we were off for some photos. The sunset photos was the first moment they got to spend a little time together alone, before heading to their reception. Jemma’s mum had spent so long making hundreds of paper cranes as a good luck charm that was a unique decoration for their reception. Jemma’s dad is so happy to have the little cranes out of his house. Then the party started, Oh how much fun was Grandma having in the photo booth.

Oceans parted this love struck couple, now they are truly starting a new life together with Lulu traveling half way around the world from America to marry Johnathan.

Now you can't get more intimate than this wedding with under 10 guests. After the intimate ceremony on the jetty at the botanical gardens everyone made their way to Customs House where a private dining room was the perfect place to celebrate.

It was such a pleasure to join Nicolas & Tamara for their destination wedding on the Gold Coast. They and the majority of their guests came in in from Rockhampton. Nic and his groomsmen got ready in a hotel overlooking the Beach. He has chosen his pack of groomsmen so carefully. His best man was his father, he couldn’t have chosen anyone better to ride this roller coaster of a day with him. The girls had a lovely house also overlooking the Beach for their preparations. Her maid of honour and mum helped her get dressed and the rest of the bridesmaid had a lovely surprise seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress as she came down the stairs. There wedding was held at SOL gardens right beside the creek. Jarrad Baybliss was the funny and charismatic celebrant who had everyone laughing. I will never forget Nic’s reaction when he saw his beautiful bride. There vows we also very personal, and Nic promised to still love her no matter how many stray animals she brought home. Tamara told me Nic could lift her dirty dancing style so we have to give it a go, Nailed it! We wish you all the love and laughter from your wedding day continues through the rest of your lives.

Brad & Diana are such a gentle and caring couple, both with each other and their friends and family. We started the day with Brad as a little Asahi, once he was ready just a quick lift to the girls. It was so nice to see Brads family being dressed in Traditional Indonesian gowns. Diana’s dress was also Traditional Indonesian, the detail in the lace in both the top and the veil was so amazing. Getting to visit another culture right here is Brisbane always makes me smile. Mum fussed around Diana making sure it was all perfect. Once at the ceremony both Mothers walked down the aisle together before Diana appeared. After their ceremony we made sure to include the Wolf pack before heading off to Botanical Gardens for some bridal party photos. The guests mingled watching the sunset behind the Story Bridge before being seated up stairs in the beautiful River Room at Stamford Plaza. Diana’s changed into a beautiful gown for the reception with so many beads

Part II - Daniel & Momo

Daniel & Momo were married in a small intimate ceremony in January. They decided to have there wedding celebration later in the year when more overseas family & friends could join in the celebration. In between part one & two they were joined by Alice, their now 8 weeks old baby gem.

So we started at Daniels parents place also taking some time our to get some photos of Alice. Daniel wore a traditional Kimono and was dressed by an expert.

Then we were off Daniel & Momo's house where Japanese relatives and friends were arriving. Some had flown in for the day only. She also wore a traditional Kimono wedding dress, with every knot and piece of material having significance. It took about 1 hour to get into the Kimono with it having such amazing detail.

The ceremony was held at Brookwater Gold Course and the staff were very attentive. After some photos around the grounds. Momo had a dress and hair change for the Reception.

I'm really looking forward to hearing all about Part III in this trilogy when they are having another Ceremony in Japan for everyone who wasn't able to make the journey to Australia.
