Simon & Kirsty – A Wedding Day at Full Throttle

Simon & Kirsty's wedding was one of the most unique and unforgettable celebrations I've ever had the privilege to photograph. Set at Queensland Raceway — the very place where they first met — their big day was a true reflection of their personalities, their passions, and their incredible journey together.

The ceremony took place right on the track, surrounded by close family, friends, and the hum of engines that seemed to echo their story. There was something so special about watching them exchange vows where it all began — it felt like their love had come full circle.

After the heartfelt “I dos,” the day shifted gears in the most epic way. True to Simon’s love for motorsport, he jumped into his car and took part in a burnout competition. The crowd went wild as smoke filled the air and tires screamed in celebration.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the night was capped off with a breathtaking fireworks display that lit up the sky and sealed the day with a perfect finale.

Simon & Kirsty’s wedding wasn’t just a ceremony — it was an experience. Every detail was so uniquely them, and I’m incredibly grateful to have been there to capture every smoky burnout, every emotional glance, and every spark — both on the track and in the sky.
